All these pictures from Dale are killing me; I headed down from Louisville in the morning. Can I use the State ramp or where would be best to put in? I plan on fnf fishing for only the second time, any info would be VERY APPRECIATED!!! Can I stay on the KY side and do any good?
yep, state ramp is fine, just be careful, one of the ramp extensions has shifted and is sittin (edit) eye and you have to drop the trailer about off about a 6-7" bump.
The answers ti your two questions are yes you can and yes you can. I might go in the morning, I don't have a basketball game and the weather front looks perfect for another stellar day.

Dave and I will be in a Red Triton DC black hull, NO markings on the top cap...200 Optimax....I am still debating between State Park or, Holly Bay...sense I will have help I will probably run on down to Holly Bay.
JLC if you use the State Park Ramp stay as far away from the dock as possible. Don't know what it is but last time I used it something broke the bead on my right rear trailer tire....So DO NOT Try to launch as close to the dock as you can.

Just talked to a friend who went today. He said the artificial bite was tough today according to him and everybody he talked to, but the live bait fishermen were catching them. Hope they turn back on tommorrow. Also said the lake was pretty crowded.

I'll be down in the morning with a college buddy putting in at the state park and staying there Monday night. Been awhile since I've been on Dale but hopefully we can catch a few. Will be in a red ranger 519 with 200 Yamaha.
