Looking for Info on Dave Stewart Guide Service (Bass Buster Guide Service)
Have been told he is the man on Kentucky Lake. I checked his website out and liked it and was wanting some feedback. Does anyone know him or anything about him. I am also told that Dave hangs out here on the BBC sometimes. So if you are out here Dave I would love to hear from you.

Re: Looking for Info on Dave Stewart Guide Service (JC25)
What are you fishing for when you head out?
Re: Looking for Info on Dave Stewart Guide Service (JonBoat14)
Well whatever is biting. Probably a mix of largmouth and smallmouth since the the lakes hold both. Just depends on the conditions...
I hear the population of smallmouth in KYLake is getting huge. Really I don't know never been on the lake but I can't wait to go!

I've never had the pleasure of meeting Dave personally but I can say he goes out of his way to try and help you out. He has sent me e-mails offering to help out with the crappie fishing I usually do at Ky. Lake and he does not guide for crappie any longer. I hope to get to meet him this year on my trip. Can't say I know anything about him guiding but as a person don't think you will get any better.

Re: Looking for Info on Dave Stewart Guide Service (mperry)
I've said this before about Dave, a few things you'll need to take with you... ink pen, notebook, gps, advil. Everyone might not need the advil, but all the info Dave will give on KY/Barkley, and bassfishing in general, can cause pea-brain overload(speaking from personal experience). Not too long after I moved to this area, I got to know him by email. He invited me to his home for coffee and shared a lot of info that evening. That was before a guide trip was even mentioned. Dave is always quick to share info, and on the rare occasion I have anything worthwhile, I try to pass it on to him. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif

George my wife says she needs advil when she goes out with me also...LOL By the way, how has fishing been for you lately? Some good early shallow fish being taken on Barkley by the reports I am getting and some of my own experience.....have you been on them yet?
Re: Looking for Info on Dave Stewart Guide Service (Dave Stewart)
Only been out a couple of times. Haven't tried shallow yet. Caught a couple on a jerkbait Sat. on Barkley.
Re: Looking for Info on Dave Stewart Guide Service (GM482V)
Dave,
I went out with Troy Underwood last weekend on KY. Didn't find anything! Started shallow first then found the water temps to be 48 to 49. Will try again not this weekend but next.
Re: Looking for Info on Dave Stewart Guide Service (Heffer11)
Thanks for information guys. Bob....I think your problem was you started shallow...the shallow bite is a late morning early afternoon thing....gotta let that water temp get up. When I said "early" in comment to George, I meant early spring fish. By the way, your maps should be in the mail today...I decided to do a little more work on them...I am sure you will be happy with that...lol.
Re: Looking for Info on Dave Stewart Guide Service (Dave Stewart)
Hey save the postage and bring them to me on the trip April 2. That is if you haven't mailed them already. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
