Who fished today?

Well I spent the day on the water at Lake Cumberland. I know you are saying to yourself right now why Cumberland when we got the Dale Hollow mini in just six days so let me explain. Last night about 8 o'clock I had a friend to call me up wanting to go to Cumberland he has been a couple of times recently and wanted to go back. I mentioned Dale but he had Cumberland on his mind so his boat his truck his plans so I just tagged along. As for the fishing it started out slow but once you located some you would get more than one bite in that area. Late in the afternoon we got to see some Smallmouths come up on a top water feed and had a blast. Days total boated 5-6 smallies largest was 18" and a couple of short KYs. My partner had a very nice smallmouth right up to the boat and when he got to the top of the water he really came alive and won the fight we saw at least 19-20"of fish before he came off http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif we had some more that pulled off or just came undone but that is fishin http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif and just for the record I did get to stretch the line on that new FnF rig I bought http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif water temp was 52
