Running Trailer wires inside channel?
I am wanting to rewire my trailer lights and tried to run a wire fish (sp?) thru the channel but could not get it more han halfway thru. How do you run all new wires thru there? I have a new 25 ft setup just can't get it back there....
Trying to start the fish from the back so I can pull from the front to the rear???
Thanks

Hopefully you have not pulled your old wires out. If not attach a nylon cord to the old wires and pull it through with the old wires then you have a line to pull the new wires in with. Make sure you have a heavy enough pull line or wire. My $0.02 http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/USA1.gif

If you've pulled the old ones out already or they were broke apart you could try getting braid to go through using an air compressor, leaf blower or a vacuum cleaner. Tie it to something bigger then pull wires through.
Good luck !

Pulling with the old wires is easiest. I have better luck fishing through channel like that with the threaded fiberglass wire pullers like this one http://www.harborfreight.com/3....html

+1. This is a great way if you haven't pulled them yet.

I used a thin enough piece of welding wire on mine or mechanics wire, I bent the end and taped it using black electrical tape. it works AMAZINGLY well for what I used it for. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif
