White truck bedliner on trailer
I have a white Ranger trailer and I'm thinking about repainting or using the bedliner stuff. Anyone ever use the white color bedliner on a trailer? I have yet to see any pictures of the white but have seen lots of the black, so please post some pictures if you have any http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/praying.gif

I've seen salt water trailers with white Line-X. Looked good, but other than that I don't know much about it (cost, durability, etc....) as I just saw it at a ramp one day while waiting my turn.

I had my boat trailer done, but with the black rather than repainting after it got blasted with rocks. They would have done a color, but it was much more expensive. As far as I'm concerned, it is the only way to go. Once you price both, I'll bet you will go with the Rhino or whatever. Mine was about 1/3 the cost to get it done compared to repainting, and you cannot scratch it!
Re: White truck bedliner on trailer (Texas Larry)
I have heard it can be much cheaper if you do it yourself too, and like you said its basically scratch proof. I also heard of guys repainting and then using a clearcoat protectant on top. Any opinions on doing this?

I had mine done in gray over 8 yrs ago by Linex. I think I would go black if I had it to do over again. The light color shows stains where with black it wouldn't be seen. And don't have them spray any tab on trailer that a bolt goes thru. Over time, the bolts & nuts will sink into the coating & cause it to split. Just tape them up & paint them with primer & paint. Grommets for the lights fit tighter, too.

Thanks for the pic and info. I will deffinitely have to remember to put tape over all the holes, great advice! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Mine was line-x'd in white. Easy to clean and easy to touch up if needed.

That looks really good http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif . How long ago was it sprayed?
Re: White truck bedliner on trailer (taterhog3232)
3 years ago. Nothings pealed-up or anything. Trailer was sand blasted, primed and line-x'd. At same time, all new brakes, lines, trailer wiring, & lights. Excellent time for full make-over! I spray the trailer with 409 then hose it off! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

I'm gonna try that next time I go fishing. I usually rinse mine off after every trip anyway. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif Of course, it may need a pressure washer as well the first time.

Anyone use the DIY Herculiner that you can find at auto parts stores?
Re: White truck bedliner on trailer (Dutch552)
I have seen numerous truck beds done with it & I wasn't impressed with any of them. The product is good but the prep & application of it is key. It requires multiple coats over a correctly prepared surface.
Re: White truck bedliner on trailer (Dutch552)
herculiner is not UV stable so it will fade and not last. I have a jeep and there are always a ton of discussions on jeepforum.com about bedliner stuff because so many people do the inside of their jeeps. there are better options for a DIY bedliner than herculiner I am not positive on the names but I think a couple of them are U-Pol Raptor and Monstaliner.
and like what was already said prep is the key to it looking good and lasting.
