A good friend of mine has given me about 25 tubes of Mobil Multitemp SHC 32 Sythetic grease to use for whatever.. Can this grease be used on UFP trailer hubs? Not sure what grease is in them now, only that its whatever the manufaturer used. Everything is fine with my trailer, just wanted to make sure the SHC is compatible with whatever is in there before servicing/topping them off ....thanks http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
I wouldn't mix the two greases. They are subject to inter act with each other. Best would be to pull the bearing and clean them all up of the old grease and then use the new grease.
Any idea what the manufacturer used? Id rather go buy a tube that is compatible for now and save the other stuff for when I have to repair/replace the hubs or bearings...thanks for the reply http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
