another goodyear marathon down the tubes
4500 miles total and the side wall failed on the way back from minnesota in the HEART of battle mountain, nevada, however this time the tire shop I bought them from here in California is going to replace it. thank the dear Lord that I took my floor jack with me. all brand new, mounted and carefully balanced, checked pressures each morning, 61 miles per hour on a new section of roadway, saw two other trailered boats with similar problems, one had carlyles, the other was wearing firestones. One was in Montana, the other was in Idaho.

Re: another goodyear marathon down the tubes (calfish1)
I was on my way home last week from the lake and my trailer tire completely shredded apart on the highway. I read these 2 posts about the Goodyear marathon, so I ran outside and sure enough my trailer has Goodyear Marathon's.
I think I will replace this spare with something else.
