Trailer tire/paint question
I had a blowout the other day and the tire knocked off an area of paint on the fender about the size of a softball. What kind of paint should I use to fix it? The trailer is black. Also, the boat/trailer/tires are only 14 months old (bought new). Are the tires under any kind of warranty? If not what kind of tire would you suggest getting? My current tires are Goodyear Marathons but I don't think they should be blowing out after 14 months. Boat is a Stratos 285XL with a single axle trailer. Thanks

I'd start by going back to where you bought the tires. If there is any type of "road hazard" warranty they could tell you. I agree, 14 months isn't that long, but one can put 1000's of miles on a tire in 14 months. Good Luck !!

Krylon(Black from Walmart) matches my EZ loader. If you want a perfect match, take a flake sample to a paint shop they'll computer match it. Had that done for my Yamaha stabilizer fin. Good Luck

Re: Trailer tire/paint question (genemelow)
You can try emailing the trailer manufacture with the VIN # and they should be able to give you the make of paint and paint codes. I just had to do this with EZ Loader and they were very helpful.
