Trailer lights not working with new truck....
Recently purchased a 2007 Tundra w/tow package. When I hitch the boat trailer up and connect the lights, all I'm getting is brake/turn signal.....no running lights. When I went back to the old truck ('95 Silverado), all the trailer lights work fine. Any ideas??
P.S. Let's try to keep the "you should'a stayed with a Chevy" comments to a minimum...please? :)

Had the same thing happen to me last month, look under the hood for another fuse box that has micro fuses in there, all my trailer stuff is run through there and had a 10a fuse blown, put a new one in and all is back working ,hope this helps

Interesting suggestion. I just hooked up my boat to my new 09 Escape with the factory tow package and had no trailer lights at all. Yet, they work fine on my 02 Escape. I did notice a chafed wire on my trailer harness and wondered if I blew a fuse on the 09. Unfortunately, the owners manual give me no advice as to what fuse(s) might be blown and they are not easy to reach. What a pain.

Ditchdoc, you're a genius!! Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!! Sure enough, that itty bitty fuse was the cause of all my problems. You sure did save me a bunch of running around.
