need parts

I am in need of the winch post assembly that came on my 1996 javelin trailer. the trailer was built by ezloader but i found out that the winch post assy. and bow roller arms were patented by custom frames for ezloader. It is the one that has the 2 curved arms with the spring in the middle attaching them to the winch post and allows them to pivot up and down. Surely theres an old trailer sitting somewhere ( i hope) They were used on the older stratos and the javelin. any help is appreciated.

My EZ loader on my hydra sports uses the same exact piece and mine is bent (damaged before I bought the boat). I called EZloader, I think they could get me a replacement but I needed the ID off the trailer. I just deal with it, you might call them. You are right in that the EZLoaders in that era were actually built by another company (OEM for EZL) that has since went out of business.

i've called ezloader allready, you should have a five digit number stamped on top of the trailer frame just behind the hitch that she can give you the info on your trailer. that's how i found out about mine.

If you still have the old one and it is either broken or bent you could always take to a fab shop and I bet they could build you a new one. It is just a couple of curved pieces with a some flat stock welded in the middle. Just take the entire winch stand and bow roller assembly in so they can fab to that.

Oh one other place to check is C & O Marine. They may have an old Javelin trailer laying around or parts from them.
