We recommend straight 50 weight motor. You can also use a synthetic...
probably depends on the hubs, I know the ones on my Ranger say 90w
As far as I know Ranger recomends 50w motor oil.
Lyn, I just inspected all my wheels, tires and brakes. One of the reasons I did is that I had a blow out, out of town and had to buy a tire. I got a chance to see some of the lug nuts and was appauled at the rust. I really don't or didn't know much oil is in the hubs and did'nt know just how that system works. But I removed all the wheels and removed the inspection and fill 3/16 hex head screw and oil came out of all but one and it only took a tablespoon full to fill it. None of thebearings seals had any hint of leaking or failure. So I capped them back up and cleaned the rusty lugs and applied anti-sieze to the threads and replaced the wheels and torqued the lugs to 100 ft lb. Have I done all I should to the wheels?
Sounds ok, but I would like to review on the phone, call me tomorrow, Im in at 7am pst at 800-854-1905 ext.107....
