2000 evinrude 225 lost power while running?
i posted a few weeks ago talking about how i was running down river @6200 rpm's and i lost about 1000 rpms and now it drags comming out of the hole and i did what everyone told me to and im still at a stand still i put new plugs in it gaped @30, checked compression, and put it on a spark board and all cylinders had good compression and fire i called a mechanic around the house and he was saying that if i diddnt have any warning lights or buzzers come on that he wouldnt be able to find the problem?? i dont know how true that was but i did have on guy tell me to pull each spark plug wire off until i can find wich cylinder is acting up what to yall think about that? then if i can find out wich one it is what should i check or replace to fix it? some guys are saying its a bad injector or clogged up injector thats why its not turning a buzzer on please help im missing the best time of the year to fish lol!!!!! 2000 225 ram ficht e225fplssh

At this point you are in need of the diagnostic software which would let you perform a cylinder drop test to determine which cylinder is acting up. You may be able to pull the plug wires one at a time and determine which one is acting up! Once you determine the bad cylinder then the injector would be the suspect component. They can be sent to DFI Technologies for testing and repair if necessary. http://www.dfitechnologies.com/
