I have been shooting for about 4 years, and am OK, but want to know some of the "proper" techniques to really get me dialed in. Any info is appreciated from gear to form to tips!</TD></TR></TABLE>
practice practice practice. you have "proper" techniques/form, and then you have realistic form. to me there are 2 really important features that bring accuracy. 1- consistency on everything from drawing to follow through is what will make for getting dialed in. you can have horrendous form and still be a tack driver as long as you are consistent with every shot. 2-tuning your bow/equipment to you, your shooting style. your shop can get ya close and on paper, but you have to do the rest
also, forget about shooting groups, move to one shot wonders. in the woods you only get 1, so rehearse it. you may find that you can drill certs at 50 with single shots. start shooting groups, mentally you can lose your focus trying too hard to get the +/-2" group and end up all over the place....jmo

I have been told to shoot everyday but only for 10 -15 minutes. Your body will start to fatigue and you will loose form.
Re: Archery tips (Sterling)
aim small...miss small also dont get a bow that is to powerfull.........be realistic not macho...i know tons of people that buy a 70lb bow but cant handle the weight that is a huge no no......it makes you a bad shot if you cant handle it...if you can thats great but if not dont do it.......
