Best hunts I ever had were not killing my biggest deer but being with my son when he missed his first buck (on video) and when he got his first. He cried when he missed his first http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/crying.gif and I think I may have teared-up a bit when he finally connected. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif By the way nice job getting your boy out Dad! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
Re: Taking the lil' man out (TCast)
taking my family to the lease tommorrow. gotta get the 10year sighted in on his new model 7 7mm-08 and some shooting practice. the 2 year old just wants to ride the vroom vroom (4 wheeler) and see the deer food (food plots). the wife is just going to help! I hope the 10 year old will get his first this year. Wife got madd at me the other day I came home with another model 7 in 223 caliber. she asked what is that for? i told her the little one would be big enough for it in another 2 or 3 years. well maybe i get a little carried away but i do enjoy them.

Hey guys, thanks for all the kind words and I want you all to know Caleb shot his 5th deer and first of the season. It was a slow weekend but we were able to close the deal late Saturday evening on a nice doe. Even though it was his 5th deer he was still very excited. 155 yds. and dropped her dead in her tracks with the .243. No other feelings can replace those hugs and high fives..... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/crying.gif
He watched me shoot a coyote Friday evening with my muzzleloader and Friday evening we had 11 turkeys come within 25 yds of the stand. It was a GREAT weekend. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif His passion for the sport is growing.
