Ammo
Anyone know of a good supplier for 280 rounds I'm using ballistic tips right now...but to be honest bullets for this caliber are hard to find sometimes...I was in Cabelas the other day and they had the New Vital Shocks for $42 http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif
So I thought I'd ask for a supplier that isn't trying to butt rape you like a monkey on cost!!...It's hard to practice at $2 a round http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/crying.gif

Re: Ammo (Basshuntr)
Able Ammo and Gamaliel will not be the cheapest source for any ammo but they always have a broad and deep selection.
Is that a standard .280?
If you think the standards are hard to find, you should try owning a .280 Express. A friend has a Remington 700 chambered in that round, it was only made for a couple of years, and ammo is hard to find at wally mart, mom and pop sporting goods, etc.

I always check with cheaperthandirt when my local guy is out. I try to order in bulk and specify same lot number when I can

Re: Ammo (Basshuntr)
Start reloading and you can have any round you want. I shot a 280 as well and I found store ammo way to high to shot much of it.
