Evinrude Intruder 175 HELP!!!

I put a post on not to long ago about my motor symptoms and I believe it is the powerpack. It is either a 1995 or 1997 Evinrude Intruder 175. I called the dealership today and they said I needed either one with the optic eye or one without it. I'm not sure yet because I havent taken it off yet. I am wondering why they said this because while searching for a possible cause of my problems I read several people say they just replaced the optic eye sensor and not the powerpack...or vice versa so why did they said they were built in? I'm kind of confused if it is one or the other now instead of just the powerpack! Anyone know...I think it is a 1997 Intruder 60 degree V6 motor!

Look at the tag on the swivel bracket, decode the model number that will tell you which one you need. You could also look at the shielding on the wires. Gray or Blue that will tell them which one you need.
