1994 225 jhonson looper champman
i just bought a j225stlerk i bought it for 1200 to rebuild but the flywheel wont turn but 3/4 of the way i know you been doing this alot longer than me but what do you think it is rod apart or crankshaft there is no hole in the block i guess ill find out soon .

Probably a piston blown. So much debris only let it turn that far. May have bought $1,200.00 worth of scrap metal.

http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif it was a bad number two piston that was hitting the cylinder head not allowing it two make a full stroke it appears that a bearring came loose and went back and forth from the piston head to the cylinder the cylinder itself isnt bad to the point it needs a sleeve so i think i came out pretty good i thought i had a socket bigenough for the fly wheel nut ive been everywhere looking for a 1 7/16 socket can someone tell me how to load up the pic thanks oh im lookingfor a merc 200 block that needs to be rebuilt i do need it to have carbs thanks juan 770 7159738

Go to the Testing 1,2,3 forum up above. You need to host your pictures up to a picture hosting web site like Shutterfly. Then when the picture is there, right click on the picture, scroll down to properties and highlight the http://afdfdsfafsd.jpg now click copy and come back here. Above the post window, the 5th icon (mountains) will give you [img][/img] put your cursor inbetween the ] [ and click paste. Your picture will now be visible.
