I am building a new house. I am trying to decide on a drilled pier foundation or a slab on grade. I am having trouble getting an estimate on the drill pier foundation. I have gotten an estimate for the the piers. Does anybody know a range of sq. ft cost that it would take to complete the rest of the foundation. It will have only 1000 sq ft of elevated slab. The rest will be conventional with an outside perimeter grade beam and steel i-beams through the middle.
