Champion Plugs vs. NGK plugs
I need to some new plugs for my 2003 225 HO erude already using the qc10wep plugs in teh motor. Seems they are on backorder! no problems gettting them but just seems like a pain to wait. Was wondering about the NGKs being just a good or better. i always hear different ideas about them was wondering about some thoughts. Thanks

The gurus say the NGK isn't compatible, don't have the proper suppression for the Rude electronics....

im sure you already checked but have ya tried O'rilys auto parts stores for the pluges, the 12s are only $4.95 each.
Re: Champion Plugs vs. NGK plugs (rude power)
yea i know they have the platinum versions not sure if theres a huge gain from the iridiums or not but oh well. i believe the differece on price was like .40 cents for teh iridiums if you can find them. Dont understand why they seem to be hard to get for some reason. how many other instances other than this outboard can they be used lol.
Re: Champion Plugs vs. NGK plugs (ccuboy123)
Talked to a guy that works at a Ford shop and he told me they have a new plug out for the F-150's that cost $40.00 each! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif Just bought 4 NGK's for a merc tune up and they cost $12.95 per and that is my cost! The iridiums will last longer.
