what temp do you guys fry crappie filets at? have never fried crappie but i a few lbs in the freezer and going to fry em up. was wondering about the temp because of the thickness of the filets, and i dont like crunchy fish.

350, but I usually don't have a thermometer. When I think it's getting close I'll put one piece in and let it cook.
If your grease is not hot enough you will ruin the batch. Don't overload the grease with fish either. I put a little over a gallon of oil in my pot and usually cook 8-10 fillets at one time.
