I have a sprinfeild pedistal pole for a butt seat and the gas has leaked out. Instead of spending $100 on a new one I drilled two holes in the rise part and put pin locks in the hole. Now i have two adjustments but marked for the right height.

I have a sprinfeild pedistal pole for a butt seat and the gas has leaked out. Instead of spending $100 on a new one I drilled two holes in the rise part and put pin locks in the hole. Now i have two adjustments but marked for the right height.
I sent em back to springfield, and for $13 they replaced em.
I like the gas adjustment, cause I need to lower it for my cover to fit right.
Otherwise - great idea.
