Motorguide 767 Pull Cord Or Others

My MotorGuide 767 was always hard to unlock or lock using the original cord. I sprayed some lube into the slots where the lock pins are, but that didn't help. After looking at how the cord is routed, I took some White Lithium Grease, pulled the cord to expose the cord that's normally in the frame and applied the grease to the cord where it makes a sharp angle going into the frame. Used a small artist type brush to apply it, don't need much, works so smooth now it only take two fingers to pull the cord and unlock.
