Re: Locked Keys In Vehicle (Steve M Hawrylyshyn)
I locked the keys in my Jeep at a lake one day. I cut and bent a minnow net to unlock it.
Re: Locked Keys In Vehicle (Steve M Hawrylyshyn)
I have tried the idea on 3 different vehicles-didn't work on any of them,,,,oh well.

This does not work. Some people need to check out the facts before posting false info and wasting valueable space.

Re: Locked Keys In Vehicle (Shellback)
All sounds good, but I don't have all those gadgets on my truck. Instead, I found an unused hole in the frame, put a bolt in and the key on the bolt. Used a thumb nut so I wouldn't need a wrench to get it off. Was sure to have the key on top of the frame so it could't be seen. It looks like just a bolt holding something. So you might look funny laying on the ground under the vehicle while in the grocery store parking lot....but you are not locked out.
Had to revert to this key twice in the past 3 years.
