Re: Spinnerbait tip. (BjBnet)
That's a cool idea! Only draw back would be that the blade is that much farther from the body of the spinnerbait. I guess if you alway use a trailer hook you'll be ok.
Re: Spinnerbait tip. (bigwall)
It doesn't move the blade back as far as you might think if you drop down one size.
Re: Spinnerbait tip. (BjBnet)
I by no means am trying to kill this good idea but there is a spinnerbait on the market already that will accomplish the same thing goto http://www.ohioprolure.com
and you will see that all his spinnerbaits have a piece of plastic that can be pushed up or down to remove the rear blade.

The pic I chose is not actual size http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif
Use the smallest snap you can find.
Ranger487, why are you trying to kill my thread? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
I'm talking about spinnerbaits we already own. Why go out and buy a new one when you can make this change for pennies. Besides, those other guys aren't board sponsors http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eyes.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Re: Spinnerbait tip. (BjBnet)
I think this is great. I have had some of the quick change baits (teminator had one and the Secret Weapon) line) but I didn't like their actual baits. I never thought of this. Don't know why but I didn't. Good idea.

Re: Spinnerbait tip. (RANGER487)
MArk, I dunno if you got my IM but no apology is necessary. We're both kidding around..
Another good idea to having different colors and styles of blades is to also have different color skirts so you can change them anytime as opposed to buying 20 different spinnerbaits. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
