Don't know if this has appeared here before but for those of you who would like to make custom skirts for spinnerbaits and wondered how to get the little rubber collars over the skirt material this is a little trick I use. Find and old aluminum arrow, remove the knock and cut off about 6 inches long. Roll the spinnerbait skirt collars up over the pointed end of the shaft, put the skirt material in the hollow end and roll the collar off onto the skirt.

just curious. WOuld a zip tie work also. just thought of that but never tried it

Probably been posted b4 but I take some thin wire a type of hobby thin wire wal- mart sells and wrap around my skirts on my spinnerbaits and buzzbaits < the ones that arent WarEagle> like they have Cannot stand skirts getting pulled off or down the lure just take needlenose pliers and twist down snug works great http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
