FINALLY got my boat back!!

Well, two months and $1200 bucks later, i finally get to go fishin' again!! it seems the motor was in pretty bad shape. they had to replace the pinion gear, water pump, clean the carbs, and they found a piece of zip tie in a reed valve in one of the carbs. Who knows how that got there!!! well, i do, it was the previous shop i took it too. and i knew better than to do it b/c i know of there reputation, but i was looking for a quick fix and there a little closer to my house then anyone else. also, they finally figured out that the "jerking" issue i was having that i posted on here was the clutch dog. Not really sure what that is but it fixed my problem.

Dont feel bad my boat was down from March 16 until August 26. The 1st mechanic fixed a small leak in the fuel pump and a water leak in the power head gasket. He never did fix my eletrical problem. 2nd mechanic got me going with a new EMM. I also put a reconditioned motor in my daughters car plus new rotors and breaks...I have been out around 5K in repairs.

Thanks to a couple of friends I have been fishing some this spring/summer. It will be nice to go in my boat http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif
