Learn something everyday. Thanks for the tip!
Re: Rope bags (Passion 4 Bassin)
They worked for me. Keeps things neat and organized in the truck box and safe on the boat!
Re: Rope bags (iwillkechu)
Sounds like a good idea but try this one on for size. Take those big gatorade bottles you can pick up at any gas station and drill a hole in the bottom. Run some nylon rope through the hole and tie a knot. Now stuff the bottle full of rope dont try to be neat and dont try to organize it. Just stuff it in there till its full tie a knot at the end and you can close the lid and store it. We have about 20 of these we use for swift water rescue training. You can throw these bad boys like a football with great accuracy. Just be careful not to tag the person in the head but hey its plastic they will live.

Sounds like a great idea Bill. When ya go to throw it do you just hang on to the end ya tied a knot to and let er rip and how much distance can ya get with that setup
Re: Rope bags (b8tcaster)
Just remove the cap and pull out the end of the rope and put under your foot. With a little slack in the rope you can underhand throw it or overhand throw it. I cannot remember the exact length we could throw them but I know they went further than rope bags.
