Re: Locked keys in car (JerryT)
Damn man I've never thought of that one!!! I always keep a spare door key in my wallet, saved me a few times. After paying a locksmith once I decided I wouldn't do that again!!
Re: Locked keys in car (JerryT)
Jazz..if that works it be the tip of the Century.. but I thinking the same as Jerry T.

Re: Locked keys in car (deadringer6)
I was under the impression that they worked on IR not RF. I have no idea where I came up with that though. If it does work, I agree, you should get the years top honors.
Re: Locked keys in car (RangerGlenn)
Has anyone tried this yet?? I know this horse(edit) can't be true?!?!?!
Re: Locked keys in car (AwesomeBullet)
i gotta agree sure wouldn't think this would work......I'm sure keyless dosen't work on sound wave.....but who knows I could be wrong....

Re: Locked keys in car (Jazz)
Just get a truck/car with ON STAR. A quick phone call and they can unlock it for you.
Re: Locked keys in car (Randy)
I have to agree this would deffinately win tip of the year however I think its just going to win the flop of the year Idea. maybe Iam wrng. good try though http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
Re: Locked keys in car (bigfish)
That would be a no-go over the cell phone even if manufacturers did use sound; too much EMIs with a cellular.
Re: Locked keys in car (littlefish)
Uhhh.........Jazz, I don't see how this could work.
P.S. Isn't this cute.....Bigfish and Littlefish posting together....... http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

Re: Locked keys in car (Jazz)
So who's tried this ? I did last night at work--- It works. Tried it twice ,once on a '04 Toyota Corolla and the other vehicle was a '04 Nissan SUV.The greatest distance we tried was about a mile so not sure how far it would work but see no reason for it not to. Now, tip of the century and year ?? What do I win ???? Seriously,-- give it a try, maybe it doesn't work on some models or years BUT it DOES work. Jazz http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
Re: Locked keys in car (Jazz)
It worked for me too! I can't believe it. My wife called me on my cell phone while standing in the driveway, I pointed the cell phone towards the truck, she clicked the unlock into the phone and the darn thing opened.
Told my wife to drive 10 miles away so we could try it again, and she did!. 30 minutes of quite time in front of the TV.

Re: Locked keys in car (BMCD)
Good one Bryan....
I can't believe this really works until I see it with my own eyes. If it does, it will definitely be hours of fun....
Hey, and, don't make fun of us for posting together....it's not cute. Not at all. (Now, I'm embarassed) http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/embarassed.gif
Re: Locked keys in car (littlefish)
No way would it work. Someones playing a joke on you. Check snopes, museumofhoaxes etc. etc etc..
Re: Locked keys in car (Jazz)
Get off your butts and try it ! Or if you know anyone with keyless have them try it. This Urban Legend is telling you it DOES work . http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/embeer.gif
Re: Locked keys in car (Jazz)
For your sake Jazz, I hope it works.
Gonna be a lot of people eatin' crow if it does.
And a lot of ribbin' if it don't
I'll give it a whirl tonight.
