Bought boat last year motor blew this weekend used so no warranty. Looking to repower. My credit union has the lien on boat and motor. What are my options? Found a great 2010 brand new for 14,000. Thanks.

You have a couple options. If we do the loan it would be with another lender and be presented as a complete purchase. The old note would be included in the new loan along with the price of the new motor. The other option is to stay at the credit union. The lien would be the same and titles would not change. We do have a place that would do the engine alone but then you would have a split lien on the package and could be confusing when you do sell.

So How do we get started? Would they pay off my current loan and then finance me with new motor added to that loan they paid off?
