removing old stickers on motor cowling ?
i have some name on my cowling and would like to remove it. but im not too sure if there vinyl, looks more like paint ? what would be the best way to remove them without damaging the finish on the cowling ? thanks guys for the help http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif

If they are stickers a heat gun or blow dryer, try to peel them off with teh adhesive if possible. Use goo gone, wd40 or alcohol to remove residue. Make sure you test whatever you use to make sure it doesnt damage the surface

Rain-ex in a spray bottle is the best thing I've used, and nobody seems to believe me, but it works!!!

It works due to the alcohol base, try using straight alcohol, it will save you some $ and get equal or better results
