Re: Bluewaters ? Mike D (zfort001)
There are tons of momentary switches that will mechanically and electrically work but they are not waterproof. The very few that are waterproof are very bulky and ugly to install. We do have push-buttons but we do not do mercury anymore. If you have a request for a certain size and a certain mounting application I am willing to look for one for you, but all boats are different.

Wow talk about a quick answer. Thanks for the heads up I guess it would be a pain to punch a few holes in the box lips for switches. Looking forward to ordering some lights from you when I get back home to the states. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mug1.gif

Zoran not sure you will be interested in how I did all my locker lights but will tell you anyway http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif
I used Mike's push button switches with one in each locker, and then added a master power switch ( off/on toggle switch) in the drivers side rod locker, which is powered by my accessory switch.
No power to the lockers without the accessory switch on and the master switch on as well.
The push button switches are easy to wire, all you have to do is put them where you want and interrupt the power wire with the switch. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif

Mercury tilt switch will do it.
Re: Bluewaters ? Mike D (StratosDadRI)
mY particular mercury tilt switch was discontinued due to govt restrictions on mercury. Besides, you don't want a mercury switch leaking into you locker.
Re: Bluewaters ? Mike D (Mike Daleo)
I think they have developed a tilt switch with out mercury.
Re: Bluewaters ? Mike D (StratosDadRI)
I went to my local wrecker yard and removed 6 interior light switches from the doors of cars they are waterproof and installed easily, now all my boxes are on a dash switch but only come on when the lid is opened

This is true, I have about 50 of them and these particular ones are horrible. At least the mercury guaranteed your lights were off when the lid closed.

T&H Marine makes one that is waterproof. The item # is CLS-1; you can see it on their website. Hope this helps.....Dennis S.
