Re: Carpet Questions (jeffj6987)
1 gallon of outdoor/marine carpet glue and a quart of contact cement will do ya. I like to use the cement on lid edges, corners, and small areas, and the glue on floor, decks, and lid tops. Works well.
Re: Carpet Questions (ep72)
just did my 18' Ranger with a roll of carpet that was 6' X 27' and had about 4' left over without making any mistakes. I used Weldwood Contact Cement purchased at HomeDepot for $30/gallon. I had to buy two and have close to half of one left. The regular outdoor carpet glue may be cheaper (i didn't check), but I personally liked how quick the contact cement set up.
Re: Carpet Questions (HawgStalker)
With the contact as stated it sets quick so you need to be spot on with your flooring pieces. The Henry's gives you a bit more time to work with the material. All I use on lids is the contact where your pattern is set. And a bunch of Harbor freight clamps of different style and size. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/wink.gif

Syntec carpet company made that color for Ranger and BassCat both but I heard that the color had been discontinued. You might call Ranger and see if they have any left in stock. They still had the floor piece with the vinyl surgung around the edge pre-cut to fit my 520 DVX I use to have.
Re: Carpet Questions (jeffj6987)
I would call Basscat and ask about Tru Mica. I thought the same thing till I called and they had it in stock. I just recieved a 30' roll at 7.5' wide last week.
Re: Carpet Questions (JRO_1399)
Really? I had emailed them 2-3 weeks ago and said they no longer carried it and were out of stock. Oh well I think I found color I want. Thanks anyway guys.
