Re: Lost Interest (Landem)
I have been there on a resto before and only saw light at end of tunnel to get me through it..
Re: Lost Interest (javelin90)
I too have done a few restos as well, one boat and several cars. I always have a time period to where I get burned out or lose intrest. Best advice I can give, based off of my own expreince is to back away for a while and hopefully one day you will look at it and get the bug again. Biggest thing is to remember why you were doing it in the frist place, because you enjoyed it. It makes no difference as to when I finsh one, just the time I spet on it. Another thing that helps is if you have someone to work with you (son, daughter, wife, friend) it makes it that much more fun.
Good luck!
Re: Lost Interest (champ12B)
Thanks guys! I think I will try to include my 7 year old son and see if he shows any interest in the project. I know he likes to fish and maybe would enjoy fishing out of it after its finished. I just hope I can get interested in it again to get back to work on it.
Re: Lost Interest (champ12B)
Two or three sheets of plywood can turn it into a really nice shelf.
Re: Lost Interest (SkeeterDD22)
put it inside the house next to the treadmill, you can use it for overflow clothing..
Re: Lost Interest (shawnjohn)
