Guys,
I just put new seats and center console in mr TR20. Installation required drilling new holes in the seat base. I cut off screws and glued small pieces of carpet over them as a buffer between seat base and gas tank. Question is, could the carpet between the plastic tank and the metal seat base cause a static charge build up in the sealed compartment? It may be a silly question but the fumes are very concentrated under the seat base. better safe than really, really sorry.
