Does anyone know if the transom has wood or is it composite? I want to mount a transducer but really dont want to drill any holes in my transom if it is wood. Thanks Chris,

Do the Shoot thru . I did on my 94 379 and it works great. One of the problems I ran across, is that my boat has a 3 step haul hard to find clean water on the transom So I did the shhot thru w and external temp . I just removed the old flasher ducer that was there already
Yeah thats what I was thinking about but I was worried about how much sensitivity you lose shooting thru the hull.
Its composite.
I was really surprisied how well it worked. This is the frist Shoot thru I did and I compaired the bowmount trolling motor and shoot thru and they looked the same just read a little different depth .Do to I did not do a depth correction . The shoot thru read very good at speed, had it up to 50 . I used the expoy they sent with the transducer for the puck and to mount the temp sender to the transom Did not drill any holes
