I had my trim motor replaced and the dealer called me letting me know my alarm doesnt beep when key is turned on. He also tested the heat sensor and it still doesnt alarm. Im afraid to have them fix it as I think they will rape me. ANy ideas on what to look for ? Thanks!
My alarm stopped beeping on key turn (self test).
Turned out my speaker went ka-put. I just went to Radio Shack and bought a 108db piezo (sp?) siren for $10 and wired that in. Got me my siren back. I can't vouch for the longevity of it yet as its only been a couple of weeks, but it was a lot less than the $40+ it would have cost for an OMC version.
