20 oz. boat carpet/ hot foot plate
I was wondering if I could get some suggestions of a few good places to look for 20 oz. carpet with a few selections of navy blue colors. I have a Champion that I am restoring but the carpet is in good shape. The only part I don't like is the floor where the guy who did it last put a dang seam right across the driver side foot area and it is coming apart, I also thought about putting an aluminum diamond plate foot panel over it hide it. I have seen several boats with the plate for their hot foot set up. While we are on the subject of the plate for the hot foot who is the guy who makes them? I seen some of them with the word "Basscat" cut out of the plate and would like the "Champion" name cut out if I go this route.

As well Bassboatcarpet.com would be your best bet for 20oz carpet.

I bought mine from Capri Carpet out of Dalton GA. I went with the 24oz after seeing the difference in them. Only place I could find Burgundy in a 24oz.

Aaron,
I think I am going to check out our metal fabrication shop at work for a scrap piece of diamond plate, that stuff has a pretty penny price tag. Also I found a guy here in town that does water cutting and he is reasonable from what I hear.
Thanks for everyone's help on the carpet info.
