Wrangler 150 rebuild or not to rebuild?
Well since having our first child this past year I need to wait a few years to pick up the boat I really want. Trying to decide weather to put new stringers in the skeeter or pick up a hull for 1000 or so that is usable until I can buy that bullet or stroker I want. I really think the wrangler 150 is a pretty cool boat but not sure if I want to split it and go through all the work. Transom is recently replaced and hull doesn't have any cracks. Floor is soft and the stringers are pretty gone all the way back. My thought is if I rebuild the skeeter I can keep it for fishing small lakes locally and just keep the 20 or 21 footer for the larger lakes. Here in southwest Michigan we have a lot of smaller lakes that the bigger boat would be a pain in the arse to get in. Think the money that would be spent on a different hull would be just as well used in rebuilding the skeeter? Those of you that have done the rebuild would you do it again or have any other thoughts? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif Thanks Scott

i had a wrangler hp150 with a gt150 on the back now i have a bullet 20v w/a 225 johnson and will tell you that i cant think of any where that the bullet wont go that the wrangler would i think it actually drafts less water so if you really want another boat than what you have now just save the dough throw a sheet of plywood down on the floor and go fishin
with the economy the way it is ive seen some smokin deals on older bullets and fast boats lately
