me and my dad used to have a skeeter hawk, but it was a 75 model, we couldnt find any info on it either. it was rated for a 90 I think was 16 foot long and as wide as my arms stretched out, had a 70 horse rude on it and was slow as hell but it got us on the water......cant wait for the pics http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif

so i got stuck into removing transom it came out pretty east some was like tissue paper http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/eek.gif theremoved some foam to get at the transom better thats when i relised the floor under the foam was completley rotten http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif so then i checked the rest of the floor and stringers there all gone to so looks like a complete rebuild is on the cards http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/ohwell.gif . lucky i found this site with all the info on here it shouldnt be that hard http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif so any ideas or advice feel free to speak your minds...

Shouldn't be hard ? http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/popcorn.gif
If this is the first one you have done it will be harder than you think.
Take lots of pictures as you tear out the wood,.. and measure every thing as you remove .. so that you can put it back in the way it came out . and so your top cap will fit back on..
I recommend epoxy resin .. will be the most durable, and water proof, but will cost you 60-90 in the US a gallon plan on at least 10 gallons plus fiberglass cloth you will need at least 20 yards of varying cloths.
Polyester resin the cheapest lowest quality grade will run 21-40 per gallon If you can find a fiberglass supply house near you it should run you 21-25 a gallon plan on 10-15 gallons and at least 20 yards of Fiberglass mat and another 5-8 yards of stitch mat.
The lowest quality resin has many variations do not buy the junk at auto parts stores .. unless that is all you can find .. it has wax added to it .. you need laminating resin no wax
The Next step between epoxy and low cost polyester resin is Vinylester ..harder to come buy at fiberglass shops and the cost is kinda in between the epoxy and the cheap poly resins.. but is stronger and more water proof than reg laminating resin.
Im sure you have tons of fiberglass supply houses if you live anywhere near the coast
Take your time do it right dont short cut any thing if you email me or pm me your email addy I can send you a ton of stuff on fiberglass repair and restore

about removing foam. My house is made out of cement encapsulated foam blocks. To run the electrical wires I bought a tool for melting the foam blocks to make a channel for the wires. It is basically an electric heated knife and it cuts foam like butter. I don't know if you could find one but it would be the cats a$$ for getting rid of all that foam.

That boat is a blast from the past. Can't help you on any real info other than Skeeter used the "Hawk" name on their old bathtub style bassboats in the 70's. Looks like you've got some work ahead of you. Good luck and looking good so far. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
