Re: Glastron HPV Bass Boats (litewave)
If those two mounting holes were leaking I would check out the transom very closely...thats where the majority of transom failures happen...the mounting holes. What did you seal them with?? 3M 5200 is the best to use and can be bought at wal-mart, bass pro, gander mountain...just about anywhere that has boating equip. Sorry I don't know anything about the boat motor...any pics?? I would also check any through hull fittings for leaks...and reseal them with 5200. Make sure you fill the hole and make a ring for the fitting to sit on when you reseal stuff. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif

Re: Glastron HPV Bass Boats (Scrapper)
Thanks for the info. I had a dealer install the bolts and check things out when I had it in for a power tilt reseal job last month. I keep it on a covered boat lift so it stays dry when I'm not using it. Right now it is a small bother. I'll see if I can find the leak(s) when I pull the boat out for the season. No pics but the motor has a blue body with a half blue, half silver motor cover. It is the 1987 Nissan NS 90A model.
Re: Glastron HPV Bass Boats (litewave)
if you are fairly sure that the bolts are okay yadda yadda...it may be a plumbing leak. somewhat common...
Re: Glastron HPV Bass Boats (litewave)
A good friend and I bought our first boats together. I bought a Terry and he bought a 16' Glastron Bueu Jack. Both were metalic green and beige. His was a fairly heavey tri-hull with a Evenrude 85. Very well made and great to fish out of. He gave it to his son in law who is still using it with the original motor. Glastron makes a very good boat.
