1997 Ranger 492VS Upgrades

Hey guys, just a fw pics of my baby.... Recently added new seats (Butt/SRS Rear) and Pedestals, All new livewell system with pump outs, pop up cleats on the front, step pad on the bow, and had the bucket seats recovered with a middle jump seat added....

Looks good. I like the color combo on the seats. if you don't mind me asking what did it cost to get the bench seat reupholstered? I had a 1985 Ranger back in +1 and currently restoring a boat. I'm out of the loop but what is pump out livewells?

Actually the bucket seats are the originals except.... I had the guy who did the work get rid of the original "rolls" that were where the red is now. The rolls would keep dirt and moisture locked in and hard to keep clean. The 2 buckets and jump seat came to $500. When you figure Ranger wanted $400 for the skins, I think I made out pretty good. I would have had to pay labor to get the skins installed, so I didn't feel bad. I had the upholstery matched to the butt and rear seats (New, off a '06 Z20). Garland, the "pump out" feature allows you to draw down the level of water in your livewell to get the fish out, or just empty them. It is a different nozzle than stock, and I had to drill a couple more holes (Red Thru hulls) to manage the two livewells I have. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif

Can you post a picture of what yours looks like and possibly a link to the site to buy a set? I currently have the top cap spilt from the hull and am rebuilding the entire hull, stringers, transom and such and figured while it is apart that now would be a good time to install since the top is easy to access.

Ritchie, I got the thru-hulls from Eddie Marine here in California. The Thru-hulls are candy red and the bezels behind them are Burgundy (Cranberry). http://www.bassboatcentral.com/boardstuff2/beers.gif
