trim/tilt only works from switch on motor and not handle or bow switch

1990 evinrude ve175slese

ran boat the other day and trim worked from throttle switch. stopped for a while and then throttle and bow switches would not work but motor switch would work.

any ideas?

I would trace or re wire it sounds like a loose wire or maybe a broken one to me but more then likley a loose one
