Removing glue residue of clothing
I know that this isn't exactly the correct forum but I figured enough people out here someone should know how to remove old glue from clothing. This is what I have: My sponsor is sending me stitched patterns for my tournament shirt, I took off his old patches that were sewn and ironed on with some type of adhesive prior to the sewing. I want to remove this old residue so my embroiderer can start with the templates of the new embroidering. Does anyone know how I can this old residue off my tournament shirt.
Thanks

I would take them to a professional cleaner they are usually good about getting things like this off...steam maybe??????

other than the dry cleaning idea
try putting a real porous cloth or paper over the glue area. heat the paper with an iron and see if any glue is pickup. repeat several time with clean paper if it works.
freeze the shirt over nite and see if you can pick the glue off frozen
good luck
