I am a builder and as you might imagine things are pretty slow and don't look great for 09'. One thought to pass the time is to perhaps do a little guiding on the Susquehanna. What type of insurance will I need to upgrade to from my "standard" boat policy and how much would a basic policy like this run? Thank you.
Hi there, Sorry for the delay I have been out of town visiting family. It is very important to know exactly what kind of coverage you have. Most carriers do not provide coverage for guiding. The big difference is you are recieving money and when you recieve money it is now a commercial exposure for the insurance company.There is a larger risk for a loss for the carrier. If something would happen to a client during a trip there will be litagation. It is unfortnute but we are in a sue happy society.
