Well, only three tournaments left. Mad-dog Moore Tournament, the Berkley Tournament and the other the Annual McDonald’s Splash. Just a reminder, last year one of my customers took second place over all in the McDonald’s Tournament. Take a look at the “Fat Girls” page for 2006 on http://www.fishinwithjeff.com.

Lake Fork is 4 feet low and there are many stumps showing and several others that are just underneath the waters surface, so be very cautious will running your boat.

After fishing the last three days fishing has been alright. Water temperatures are anywhere from 82 – 85 anywhere on the lake, even in the backs of the creeks. I was very fortunate this weekend to have the opportunity to fish with both my Dad and my son. We found our fish and some consistent bites on white/chartreuse spinnerbaits, june bug frogs and watermelon flukes. We didn’t venture out into deep water, simply because there is so much vegetation showing on the lakes surface and that kind of fishing is just a lot of fun. I’ll be back out on the lake this week and will be fishing several different techniques helping get some customers ready for the upcoming tournamentsThe 2006 “Fat Girls” page is already taking on a great look and the forecast for the remaining months of this year look great too. To have your picture posted there it must be a minimum of 4 pounds, unless the angler is a child or woman.
