Thinking about giving the Yough river lake a try. Anyone know good or bad about this strip of water?
Thanks, Mike.

Thanks, Mike.
it is a great place to fish at certain times of the year, august is not one of them.
This time of year is usually pretty slow fishing, too many pleasure boaters. I haven't been down for a couple of weeks but may hit it this weekend. Best time to fish the yough is after labor day through Oct-Nov if water permitting and April-May. Tim
Thanks guys, I have wanted to get down there but never have. Looks like I will give it a try this fall.
Thanks again.
Mike.
Fished the Yough for about two hours today and caught 8 smallies, most fish in the 1 1/2-2 lb range with one at 3.4 lb. I would have fished more but this fine May weather blew me off the lake.
We all should be there today! Went after work last night for about an hour until the lighting storm ran me off. Had 2 big pigs pushing 4 and some smaller ones. They should be hitting spinnerbaits in the bushes today - but I'm stuck at work! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/mad.gif - DC

Fishing club tx on Yough Sunday. I'll let you know how it is. The LM have moved up. Should be a 20lb sack day to win! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif - DC
Deepcreek you having a tournament Sunday? Board tournament? I'll probably head down there either Sat. or Sun. depending on the weather.
Yep paper club tx Flip. What are you fishing in? I'll be in my red ranger. I'll look for you. - DC
I have a white/red triton, I normally fish between 40 and the dam

16 lbs (5 fish) Saturday - all smallies. 14 lbs (5 fish) LM & SM Sunday. Great weekend but got muddy and rough from wind and boat traffic. Some nice sites on the pleasure boats though! http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/devil.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/roll.gif - DC

Nice limit of fish, must have been a afternoon bite, I didn't catch too many keepers on Sat. I was only able to fish to about 11.00. The scenery was nice though, I didn't see you running around anywhere.
Flip we didn't start until 1:00 pm on Saturday - coaching T-ball. - DC
