Yup, surprisingly easy to install too. Only problem was that I mounted it literally 1/2 and inch too far in, so the shaft is butting up against my rub rail. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif

Re: Another good trip (TMG)
Ya, but no big deal. It still works fine, it's just a problem if I want to lift the prop up a bit or not, but other than that, it works fine. Love this new motor compared to the old Edge I had. Especially love how it builds to whatever speed you select, and the variable speed. Unlike the Edge, where it was 1-5, and when you clicked it on at 5, if you weren't ready for it, you almost fell in every time.
Re: Another good trip (Snover)
You need 3" of clearance from boat. Might want to remount...if you bang into something the shaft or the mount can't flex/release and you'll be SOL...Take a look and see if you can line up some of the holes in the new position so you don't have to drill all new holes.

Snover remount it before you break it, and epoxy the old holes , not critical. Fish- on!
Re: Another good trip (yanknbass)
Definitely plan on remounting it. I don't know if I can use the other holes I drilled, they might be too far apart, I think 6" or so. Will probably have to just redrill all 4. http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/doh.gif
Re: Another good trip (Snover)
If u do that and are worried about weakening the fiberglass, you can get some aluminum plate and drill the new holes thru the fiberglass and plate at the same time and bolt thru both to reinforce it.
Good luck.

Snover, between all of us on this board we have probably made every mistake possible on a boat. You had better run everything by us before you do anything in the future!

http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/thumbsup2.gif Good point.
I went through the boat today, spent 8 hours fixing a ton of little things that had been bothering me, but weren't a big deal at the time, and gave the boat a thorough cleaning for the first time in 2 weeks. Remounted the TM, works great now. Fixed some wiring, fixed the u-bolt at the bow, and a couple of other little things, and waxed the boat til my shoulders felt like they would tear.
