Re: New battery question (Jazz)
My first day out this year my battery died .My business partner showed up
at the ramp with a new one for me http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/smile.gif straight from batteries plus. I fished all day with it, 10 hrs or so with no problems.
Re: New battery question (TMG)

Re: New battery question (Jazz)
Jazz, Tim must of be lucky with his Batteries Plus batteries, all the batteries that I have bought I at least give it a 24 hr charge before I put it in my boat.
What you might want to do Jazz is give your battery that you are mentioning that doesn't get fully charged is give it a stronger charge with a higher charging unit.
I was told by a friend at work that the electrodes in the battery sometimes can get overload with crap preventing a full charge when you are recharging your batteries.
Re: New battery question (00Bassn)
I have always installed my batterys and pluged in the on board charger. Never had a problem.

Re: New battery question (Jazz)
After fishing with my small boat ( no on board charger http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif ) I always trickle charge it on 2 amps over night.when charged on 2 amps for a longer time it always lasts longer ,I have a meter on my tm when charged at a 2 amps
it will read 100 % for a couple hrs, if I charge at 10 amps 20 min. and it is at 75% it still lasts all day but with the meter I can see the diff.
Jazz I thought we where gonna do some Ice fishing http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/Laugh.gif
Maybe in the next few weeks can you fish Sat or Sundays ?
