We fished Silver Lake yesterday and caught some real nice large and smallmouth. Most all the fish that were taken were real good fish, the largest SM almost 4lbs. Some were deep off the numerious drop offs and some were in the back coves in water as shallow as a foot. The river had some real nice LM, I caught a 3 on a Horny Toad. Plastic, crankbaits, drop-shoting everything seemed to work, however they did shut off around 2 PM.
