friggin boat is ready to go!!!!
Just got my order from pure fishing and megabass...come on warmer weather!
okay, who will have the first report. Weather looks great next week!!
http://www.bassboatcentral.com/smileys/crying.gif I got to wait till I get my trolling motor back from the shop. Bent the shaft last fall and figured I'd fight my way through it but found out at Fork it wasn't as easy as I thought it would be!
Does LOZ count as a report?
I bought a new rig over the winter and was able to get on Lake Manawa to break-in the engine. Most local lakes are open to where you can at least get around and wet a line, as well as Lincoln lakes. I hope to get out this weekend and see if I remember how to set the hook...
nice try Ben and no it does not count

Oh yeah, it got at least 5 minutes at neutral idle and about 10-15 at idle forward. It's a 2011 Stratos 285 XL with a 150 Pro XS. Lovin it!
yep, them mercs require lots of warm up before running to include when you come off plane in cold water. My 250 pro xs recommends temps of 120 before taking off
Yep, needs to be 125 before you give it hell. http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
Woohooo! First bass of 2011 Saturday afternoon at Walnut Creek. 18" on a slow-rolled crank off the rocks on north end by dam! Then.....I got cold and went home :)

Awesome, Beaver Lake is still holding on with ice on the north side and north coves. It isn't much ice, but there are still geese standing on it. It can't last much longer. I haven't drove to the ramp to see if it is clear, but my guess is that it's open since it is on the North side.
Congrats on the fish!! http://xs-s.com/zf/images/smile/emthup.gif
